Join us at our Flavors of Slovakia VIP dinner event for a fun evening of networking, celebrating Slovak culture, and learning about our triad partnership to invite your curiosity to join us next year in beautiful Banská Bystrica, Slovakia at our global conference. During the dinner event, you will learn about the Idaho Museum of International Diaspora (IMID) and our flagship global conference – Museums: The Future of Diaspora Engagement in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia (September 2023). Based in Boise, Idaho and with partners from around the globe, the IMID is a multicultural and multipurpose diaspora museum that will connect communities to cultures of the world through creative immersive learning opportunities about the human journey story. This VIP dinner program will bring awareness to the important role of cultural and diaspora museums in influencing social impact.
Additionally, the evening will feature His Excellency Ambassador Radovan Javorčík from the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in a lively cooking demonstration for all to enjoy the flavors of Slovak cuisine and wines.
